On the 3rd of September 2006, circa 10 SWC's members headed up to Silverstone for one of the last shows of the year.
Expecting Rain, and getting it the night before, hopes of strolling around Silverstone on a sunny day were nothing but a watery vision.
Luckily on the morning of the show, the sun shone proud and dried the track leaving nothing but soggy grass to remind us of the previous nights weather.
BerryCTR entered the 0-60 sprint and put in an impressive 6.71 (not bad for a breadvan loaded with luggage and TomVTi's p0rn collection!)
Meanwhile the rest of us wondered aimlessly around Silverstone with no map or signs to point us in an obvious direction! There was plenty to see, however most of us returned to the club stand once we had done a "lap" of the grounds.
Burgers & Drinks were exchanged for gold bullion, or the shirt off your back (which ever was more expensive..) and before we knew it, the wind had picked up leaving most of us looking red faced!
VTi Stu's tribute to his fallen Civic went down well however, like the banner stand, it was impossible to keep the cones upright due to the gail force winds!
Overall i think everyone had a great time, if not just for invading the travel lodge the night before! (and the local pub with the massive horsedog).
Finally, i want to tell Mark how much i hate him for making me want power folding mirrors..... lol
